Since the crack was larger than a dollar bill I had to pay to have it replaced. Amazing how a small pebble can cause over $300 worth of damage. Safelite Auto Glass came to my house to replace the windshield and, after a minor concern (the glass vibrated for a few days), their customer service proved to be incredible- following up with me on three separate occasions. We concluded that it may have been due to the weather being near absolute zero at the time of replacement.
